one of the clashing courses is usually elective and generally
timetable developing process cannot, and does not attempt to, avoid all
clashes between all electives as the enroloment details of students
taking any particular elective change from semester to semester and
from year to year. The following procedure is recommended for lecturers
to resolve any clashes during the first week of semester.
