Biography:

 

Dr. Ji Zhang is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia. He received his degree of Ph.D. from the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University, Canada in 2008, degree of M.Sc from Department of Computer Science at National University of Singapore in 2002 and degree of B.E from Department of Information Management and Information Systems at the Southeast University, China in 2000. He was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in CSIRO ICT Center at Hobart, Australia from 2008-2009.

Dr. Zhang's research interests are knowledge discovery and data mining (KDD), bioinformatics, information privacy and security. He has published over 30 papers in major peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.

Dr. Zhang is a member of the Center of Systems Biology (CSBi) at USQ.
