Air services from all capital cites land daily at Proserpine,
Hamilton
Island and Mackay.
Laguna Quays is just twenty minutes by road south of Proserpine
and 1.5 hours north from Mackay. Transfers from Hamilton Island by
launch, helicopter or plane to Laguna Quays are available.
D'99 will arrange the transport of registered
delegates and accompanying persons from the airport at Proserpine to
Laguna Quays provided you communicate your flight number, time of
arrival and the number in your party to David
Ruxton.
Ansett Airways,
provide two flights into Prosperpine from Brisbane, connecting with flights
from other capitals, on both Friday (9am and 11am) and Saturday (9.10am
& 1.30pm). Flights take an hour and forty minutes.
Qantas flights leave
Brisbane at 10.10am on Fridays and 11.55 on Saturdays.

Driving to Laguna Quays by road
take the marked turn-off to the resort about 25 km. south of Proserpine
on the Bruce Highway. The resort is some 7 km from the highway. Proserpine
is approximately an hour and a half north of Mackay
which is about 10-12 hours driving time north of Brisbane.

Rail services on Queensland
Rail's Sunlander depart Brisbane Thursday or Saturday 8.25am.
and arrive in Proserpine the following morning at 4.00am. Single
adult fares vary from $105 (sitting), $135 (economy sleeping berth) to
$208 (first class sleeping berth).
Alternatively you can take the Tilt
Train from Brisbane to Rockhampton leaving
at 10.30am and arriving
5.30pm, have dinner and a look around Rocky before joining
the Sunlander at 8.00pm to complete the journey *.

Coach services by McCafferty's
depart Brisbane daily at 6.30am (arriving 11.25pm); 12 noon (arriving 5.55am
the following morning); 4.15pm (arriving 9.45am); and 8.00pm (arriving
1.35pm). A single adult fare is $107 and the return fare, $203 *.
