Who may subscribe?

Christaf is intended for Christian Staff at USQ, be they part-time, full-time, contract, Academic or General staff. (See What is Christaf? and the aims stated there.) Any Staff member who feels that she/he agrees with our aims is welcome to subscribe as described below.

USQ students are directed to the several groups on campus which cater to the needs of Christian students.

Subscribing to/unsubscribing from the christaf mailing list

What happens next ?

When you subscribe you will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list administrator. This is not an onerous process; it is just to ensure, for example, that commercial interests such as advertisers don't gain access to our mailing list. You will be notified of the administrator's decision by email. Once approved, you will receive postings from christaf and can send postings to christaf.

Before you start posting messages, there are a few guidelines you need to be aware of.

• When you subscribe, the server will send you a few instructions, including how to unsubscribe. Save this e-mail for future reference.
• Remember that messages are copied to every subscriber, so they are essentially open letters.
• If you want to have a private discussion or share say a confidential prayer point, go off-list and e-mail the person directly.
• Try to avoid Me Too! type messges.
• Commercial advertising is not permitted. Do not attempt to buy or sell anything on this list.
