Bangladesh is my country of birth. I received my first degree in Statistics and initiated my academic career in Bangladesh. I left Bangladesh in December 1985 and returned to Dhaka University in April 1992. Later this year I migrated to Australia and joined in the University of Southern Queensland in January 1993. I visit my relatives and friends in Bangladesh as often as possible.
