The data come from the 2006 and 2001 (Australian) National Church Life Surveys,
and (where relevant) the 2001 Australian National Census.

Notes:
The (Australian) National Church Life Survey
is conducted on a given day.
From this newsletter,
the survey is given to people attending church in that day,
covering more than 22 Christian denominations and movements,
and 6000 local churches,
and 400000 attenders.
However,
filling-in surveys is voluntary,
but encouraged.
