Lung weight of mice

Access data file
Keywords:
muscular dystrophy
Categories:
generalized linear models;
biology
Description:
The data give the lung weight for mice either normal or with a condition similar to muscular dystrophy in human (males). After a given number of weeks, the mice are sacrificied and their lungs weighed (as well as numerous other variables).

There are 157 observations over three variables.

Variables:
Lung.Wt The weight of the mouse lungs (n grams)
Age The age of the mouse (in weeks)
Mouse The type of mouse, either C57 (a normal mouse) or mdx (a mouse with muscular dystrophy)
Data Quality:
There are 20 missing values in the lung weights, not at random.
