Description:

Three 20 minutes surveys were conducted in each of 31 × 2 ha belt transects in buloke woodland patches within the Wimmera Plains of western Victoria, Australia.

There are 31 observations on 11 variables.

Variables:
miners The presence (value 1) or absense (value 0) of noisy miners
eucs The number of eucalypts in each 2 hectare transect
area The area (in hectares) of remnant patch of vegeatation in which the transect was located
grazed Whether the area was grazed (value 1) or not (value 0)
shrubs Whether shrubs were present in the transect (value 1) or not (value 0)
bulokes The number of buloke trees in each 2 hectare transect
timber The number of pieces of fallen timber in the transect
finelitt The percentage of fallen litter on the ground (estimated from four 3m diameter quadrats randomly located in each transect)
minerab The number of noisy miners observed in three 20 minute surveys
declinerab The number of declining species (as defined by a particular list) observed during three 20 minutes surveys
Data Quality:

There are no missing values.
