Radio Frequency Identification ( extsl{RFID}) systems have already widely applied in industry supporting supply chain management and inventory control. While the continuation increased applications of extsl{RFID} in our daily life, extsl{RFID} also creates new security and privacy problems to individuals and organizations. This project focuses on the challenges on security and privacy of low-cost extsl{RFID}. The security and privacy challenges will be analysed, and a proposal to protecting security and privacy of customers, as a solution of the challenge for low-cost extsl{RFID} systems will be designed. This is a very interesting research area and it is on its infant step. Good results should be obtained in this area.
