Description:

Mathematicians are fixed to a specific notation which is difficult to capture and encode using simple computing equipment. A number of representations and systems have been developed to capture and represent mathematical formulae but these are either inadequate or are non-intuitive and add to learning overhead for students of mathematics. This project seeks to create software with an intuitive interface for input of formulae which can output notation in multiple formats for use in documents and communications.
