Number theory in historical perspective

Supervisor:  Oleksiy Yevdokimov

Description:  The aim of this course is to describe the evolutional development of number theory throughout the centuries. Basic elements of both, algebraic and analytic, number theories will be considered. Special attention will be given to Kummer's works in number theory.

Prerequisites:  You should be fluent with the material of ``Algebra and Calculus'' course
