The assignments for this course can be found in the course
Introductory Book. There are three
assignments in this course, each consisting of questions
and excercises taken from the
course Study Book and from
the book of
Selected Readings.
Note: The StudyBook and Assignments distinguish between
Questions and Exercises — they are different.
All information about the assignments - due dates, what is to be
handed in and how it is to be handed in - can be found in the
course
Introductory Book.
The assignments for this course should be submitted online through this
web site. The file submission system for this course will accept only
one file. The types of files that are acceptable are:
Assignment 1 - Text File
Assignment 2 - Tar File
Assignment 3 - Tar File
any other file type than those listed above will be rejected by the
submission system.
The files can be compressed using gzip or
bzip2. In fact, it is recommended that the files
be compressed.
If you have problems with the system read
the help provided with the submission system. The
help link is at the
bottom of each page.
The results for each assignment will be posted on this web site only.
When the results for an assignment become available it will be announced
on the course Mailing List/News Group.
