Cisco CCNA Exploration courses will commence on 2 March 2009 simultaneously with USQ’s Semester 1 and 2.

In Semester 1 (S1), the first two Cisco courses, Network Fundamentals and Routing Protocols and Concepts,
are offered in parallel with USQ Computer Science degree course, CSC3407 Network Fundamentals and Routing.
Timetable in S1 2009:
Lecture (Starting on 2 March, Week
1):
Monday: 10am – 1pm, Room T122
Lab Practicals (Starting in 16 March, Week
3)
Monday: 3-6pm, Room C205, or
Tuesday: 3-6pm, Room C205
Note: Only one lab session (Monday or Tuesday) is required and the time slots listed here are subject to
change after the class coordination in the first week.

Study Materials:
Once you are enrolled into a Cisco CCNA course, you will be given a username and password to
access all the online materials which include course contents and online module exams, etc.
You are also encouraged to purchase the prescribed textbooks for the two Cisco courses:

For non-CSC3407 Student:

For each Cisco CCNA course you pass in Semester 1, you will have $100 discount
in Semester 2. This means that you only need to pay $1450 in Semester 2
if you pass the first two Cisco CCNA courses.
